Undergraduate Class Scheduling
- Part Time
The following is an example of a part-time course
schedule for an undergraduate student in the Eastern
Michigan University Legal Assistant Studies Program.
Second Bachelor's Degree students should see the sample Second Bachelor's part-time course schedule.
This schedule assumes that the student begins taking
required Program Courses in the Winter semester
of his or her sophomore year. The Program Coordinator
strongly recommends that undergraduate students have
most of their University Basic Studies courses complete by
that time.
The Program Coordinator is available to help students
plan their course schedules. However, it is
each student's responsibility to conform his or her
course scheduling to the Program Schedule. Failure to do
so will result in scheduling difficulties and delays
in graduation. Substitutions necessitated by
a failure to appropriately schedule courses will be
granted only under the most exceptional circumstances.
Questions should be directed to the Program Coordinator.

This example is based upon a 9-hour per-semester
course load. A student who chooses to take fewer
hours, or who has more University Basic Studies requirements
to fulfill, will need to adjust this schedule accordingly.
Full-time students (15 hours or more per semester)
should see the example for full-time students.
