Where is the College of Technology?

The College of Technology (COT) is located on Eastern Michigan University's main campus, in Sill Hall. Sill Hall is on the far East side of campus, between Alexander and Godard/Jones. Try

What is the Eagle Crest Conference Center, and where is it?

There are many classes taught at the conference center when space on campus is limited. The ECCC is located in the Ypsilanti Marriot, on the south side of town. You can reach it by taking the Hewitt exit south from I-94.

Where is class?

COT Classes can be taught in a number of different buildings: Sill, Pray Harold, Roosevelt, Goddard, and the Eagle Crest Conference Center. Contact your
department for the exact location.

When do classes begin/end?

Check out the current calendar for exact dates.

Where are the labs?

Sill Hall houses 2 Multimedia, a CAM, a CAD, a Construction, a Plastics, an Emission Evaluation, and a National Science Foundation lab. For more information on these labs click
here.

When are the labs open?

Most of the computer labs are open during regular school hours (9am-10pm). Contact the
department responsible for more detailed times.

Who can use the labs?

Your Technology fee helps pay for your access to Sill Hall rooms 209 and 215 computer labs. All other labs in the college are for students in specific programs only. Each lab has acceptable use policies, which are posted in the labs.

Faculty office hours are posted in each department's main office, or on the
faculty's fact sheet (if they have one). To find out more current hours contact the specific department, or the faculty.

What are the hours of my department?

All departments are usually open during normal business hours (9am-5pm). When EMU is closed so are the departments.
Contact each individual department for more detailed hours.

Who is the advisor for my program?

To speak with our college advisor visit the
COT Undergraduate Academic Advising page. Program coordinators are also available for this purpose. A complete list of program coordinators is on the Faculty page. To reach program coordinator by phone contact their department.

The
COT Undergraduate Academic Advisor is located in 109a Sill Hall. Most program coordinator offices are in Sill Hall. See the Faculty page for office location.

Where can I get class override information?

Class override information may be attained from

How can I contact my professor?

Each faculty member is listed in the department in which they teach. Go to the
Facutly and Staff page to view e-mail listings, or call the department here.

How do I get my grades?

Grades can be attained by calling the grade hotline (734) 487-6560, Visiting the Services section on http://my.emich.edu or by contacting your instructor two weeks after the last day of finals.

There is no current online cataloge for classes. Please obtain a class catalogue book from the Registrar's office.

Where can I get Graduate information?

College of Technology graduate information can be attained on the

Faculty page.

Who do I complain to about building issues (i.e. too hot/cold)?
