With its 26 undergraduate and five graduate programs
the College of Technology has grown to be the 4th largest
college at Eastern Michigan University. Our continuing
growth and expansion will make the COT known throughout
the technology community.
We currently house programs dealing with Machine Technology,
Computer Aided Design, Polymers and Coatings Research,
Aviation Management, and Legal Assisting; just to name
a few. This wide array of fields attracts an even wider
array of students. Our students are from a variety of
countries such as India, Korea, The Philippines, Africa,
Japan, and Russia; not to mention the many from the
US.
The college is located on the east side of campus,
in Sill Hall; with annexes in Godard and Roosevelt
Halls. There exists a plan to renovate Sill Hall to
encompass all our departments.
Sill Hall houses 23 classrooms, of which five are
computer labs, three are machine labs and one construction
lab. We plan to expand to over 40 classrooms, including
labs, research areas, seminar rooms, conference areas,
etc...
